WE ARE GROUP 19

Qavitha Hurriyih Buspanathan

Picture
20-year old Qavitha is a person of varied talents and interests. When she is not cooking up a storm in the kitchen, owning the dance floor or collecting nail polishes and notebooks, Qavitha enjoys being in the company of children. Her genuine interest in the personal problems of those around her have made her a trustworthy confidante amongst family and friends. An aspiring psychologist, Qavitha hopes to utilise her natural gift on a wider audience.

Korrisha Thevandran

Picture
Korrisha was just your average college-going teenager worrying about average college-going teenager stuff: studies, money and of course, boys. But there was something about the commercial by the Sri Lanka Eye Donation Society that struck a chord with her. Maybe it was the child's lack of sight. Maybe it was his infectious laughter. Or maybe it was his thirst for life despite his disability. Whatever the reason, Korrisha's average life became anything but. A keen advocate of organ donation, Korrisha now dedicates her time and energy to persuade others to get involved and not fall for the same fallacies employed by the practice's naysayers. She understands that while it is difficult decision to make, the generosity and knowledge that one has served one's community more than makes up for it.

Sathia Preeya Murugaiyan

Picture
Like Korrisha, Sathia has pledged to become an organ donor and intends to encourage her friends to do the same. When she is not busy saving the world, Sathia enjoys cycling, reading and watching her favourite television programs. But underneath her calm and cheery outlook belies an adventurous side very few have the privilege to witness. A huge fan of fast and furious superbikes, Sathia wishes to tear up the motorways of Malaysia with her very own in the future.

Fatimah Jabin

Picture
An avid photographer, Fatimah Jabin just has one simple desire: to live her life to the fullest. With her trusty camera in tow, she hopes to travel around the world, diving headfirst into a dizzying array of unique cultures, all the while capturing beautiful pictures to share with the people she cares most. A picture tells a thousand words. We cannot wait to read them.
